KŠB Succeeds in Chambers & Partners Ranking Once Again

In the recently published Chambers Europe 2023, KŠB and its lawyers are recommended in nine areas. The yearbook is the result of an analysis of a number of criteria, with the greatest weight given to the experience and opinions of clients themselves.

We would therefore like to thank our clients in particular for their positive feedback on our work, which has led us to be ranked in the following categories:

  • Banking
  • Capital Markets
  • Competition
  • Compliance
  • Corporate/M&A
  • Dispute Resolution
  • Employment
  • Projects&Energy
  • Tax

Pavel Dejl has again been ranked as one of the leading experts in the Czech Republic in the field of litigation as well as competition law, and clients recommend him with the following words “He is highly intelligent and that is something that you immediately recognise when you talk to him.”

This year, KŠB's tax team – with Helena Navrátilová as the key expert in tax advisory (“She has an amazing knowledge and client approach.”) – is again unrivalled. Another KŠB tax team member, counsel Jan Černohouz, also joined the rankings this year (“Jan Černohouz joins the rankings this year, demonstrating considerable experience.”).

In the Corporate/M&A category, the yearbook highlights the highly experienced team led by Dagmar Dubecká (“She is good at everything you may need in the Czech Republic.”) and Martin Šolc (“He is really amazing in negotiations. If you have to settle something or come to an agreement of compromise and bring him with you, you have a very good chance to make a good deal.”).

In banking, Martin Krejčí is recognised by clients for his “responsiveness, understanding of the business and practicality”, and Vlastimil Pihera (“Vlastimil is very straightforward, hard-working and cooperative. He is business-oriented and curious about finding a right way out from a problem.”) is recognised in capital markets.

In energy, clients recommend partners Václav Rovenský (“He is very skilled in energy law and a lawyer who gets things done and always seeks commercially feasible solutions.”) and Tomáš Sequens (“He is a superb lawyer with a human approach to client relations and he has an acute commercial understanding of the impact of regulations.”).

For the second time, Michal Hanuš, who specializes in employment law, was included in the yearbook.

We congratulate all of our colleagues on their rankings, which is the result of their many years of exceptional work in their respective specialisations.
