Smetanova Litomyšl
We are the official partner of one of the most significant cultural projects in the Czech Republic – the Smetanaova Litomyšl music festival. As the “law firm of the festival,” we are proud to be part of this long-standing social event that brings together music and a unique historical setting.
As partners, we are also actively involved in supporting the SmetaNOVÝ Hall project – a modern concert venue being built directly in the castle courtyard. In addition, through the festival’s benefit concert, we support the Committee of Good Will – Olga Havel Foundation, with whom we have been cooperating since the early 1990s.

Committee of Good Will - Olga Havel Foundation
Since 1995, we have been organizing the annual Advent/Charity Concert of Good Will as part of our support for the Committee of Good Will – Olga Havlová Foundation. The concert supports its programs: Senior, Education Fund, and A Roof First. Over the years, more than CZK 24 million has been raised during these concerts. The 30th concert will take place on December 7, 2025.

We support music and talent
Therefore, as one of the sponsors, we supported the concert of the world-famous Czech pianist Tomáš Kačo, which took place in one of the most famous concert halls in the world - New York's Carnegie Hall.
Impuls Endowment Fund
We continuously provide assistance with the Impuls Endowment Fund, which focuses on helping patients with multiple sclerosis, with resolving tax and accounting issues. We also provided advice on the creation and operation of the Remus registry - a registry of patients with multiple sclerosis.
Lawyers in schools
We participated in the project "Lawyers in schools", the essence of which is to improve the legal awareness of pupils and students.
Pro bono declaration
In 2008, KŠB signed a pro bono declaration, the main goal of which is to support the development of pro bono legal services for lawyers in the Czech Republic.

This year’s edition of the Smetanova Litomyšl festival concluded with the concert Grand Finale – An American Story, held under the patronage of our firm. In addition to delivering a remarkable musical experience, the evening also served a charitable purpose: proceeds supported the Olga Havel Foundation (Výbor dobré vůle – Nadace Olgy Havlové), helping young people from disadvantaged backgrounds pursue their education.

KŠB Supports Multiple Sclerosis Patient Register
Remus is a unique Czech project designed for exchanging data on multiple sclerosis patients. The database links separate statistics kept by governmental health institutions, health insurance companies and professional medical societies, with anonymized data helping to serve scientific, statistical and economic purposes. KŠB provided pro bono advice on personal data protection issues.
