KŠB to Support Young Czech Talent’s Concert at Carnegie Hall

As a fan of both music and talent, KŠB is proud to be a sponsor of world-renowned Czech pianist Tomáš Kačo’s concert on 22 February 2018 at one of the most famous concert halls in the world – Carnegie Hall in New York City.

In addition to his own compositions, Tomáš will perform his own arrangements of Bach and Chopin. The concert will be followed by a reception organized by the Permanent Mission of the Czech Republic to the UN in New York. The event will be attended by KŠB partner Jiří Horník, and a number of celebrities and prominent personalities have also promised to attend.

Tomáš Kačo began playing piano when he was five to be able to learn his favourite Gypsy songs by ear. After graduating from secondary school, Tomáš studied at the Academy of Arts (AMU) in Prague and, thanks to sponsors, he subsequently enrolled in the Berklee College of Music, one of the world’s most respected schools of contemporary music in Boston, where he earned his degree. It was just three years ago that Tomáš referred to a solo concert at Carnegie Hall as another of his life-long dreams. He considers music his own personal weapon against racism.
