Kocián Šolc Balaštík Law Firm advises J&T Bank in CPI PROPERTY GROUP's Hotel Joint Venture and Stake Sale Transaction

KŠB Law Firm is pleased to announce its advisory role in facilitating the recent transaction between CPI PROPERTY GROUP ("CPIPG") and Best Hotel Properties ("BHP") regarding the joint venture and stake sale of a portfolio of eight hotel properties in the Czech Republic.

Under the terms of the agreement, CPIPG has successfully sold a 50% stake in a subsidiary holding the portfolio, totaling approximately €173 million, putting a total value on the portfolio of €347 million. This strategic move marks a significant step for CPIPG in optimizing its portfolio and capitalizing on opportunities within the hospitality sector.

KŠB Law Firm provided comprehensive legal services to J&T Bank throughout the transaction process and facilitating a smooth execution of the financing part of the deal.

The joint venture between CPIPG and BHP represents a significant collaboration in the hospitality sector, leveraging the respective strengths and expertise of both entities. BHP, renowned for its investment and operational prowess in premium and luxury hotel properties across the CEE region, brings valuable insights and resources to the partnership.
