KŠB Nominated for 2019 Deal of the Year Award

KŠB’s legal advice to Karlovarské minerální vody Group (KMV) is one of the three nominees for the prestigious 2019 Deal of the Year Award granted by CEE Legal Matters magazine.

The deal involved the acquisition of Knjaz Miloš – the largest Serbian mineral water and soft drink producer – by KMV Group. The transaction took the form of a joint venture with PepsiCo.

KŠB’s legal advice related primarily to the financing of the entire acquisition (both at the joint-venture level between KMV and PepsiCo and at the KMV level). KŠB also assisted in the conclusion of a shareholders’ agreement and in setting the mutual relationships between KMV, Knjaz Miloš and PepsiCo. The attorneys in charge of the deal were KŠB partners Dagmar Dubecká and Martin Krejčí, with the support of senior associates Ivo Průša and Jana Guričová.

The 2019 Deal of the Year Awards ceremony will take place in London on 23 April 2020. The full list of nominees is available here.
