ARETE INVEST CEE II’s Portfolio of Logistics Parks Sold with KŠB’s Assistance

The ARETE real estate investment group completed the sale of a complete portfolio of the ARETE INVEST CEE II sub-fund to Cromwell European REIT (CEREIT) for EUR 113.2 million (CZK 3 billion). Cromwell is a publicly traded real estate investment trust listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange. We have already disclosed information on the transaction here. 

The Portfolio includes 11 logistics and light industrial parks in the Czech Republic and Slovakia that are leased to 17 mainly international tenants. Cromwell acquired a total leasable area of 125,000 sqm and additional 140,000 sqm of land for further development.

KŠB has advised the ARETE Group throughout the sub-fund’s entire life, including its structuring, the purchase of individual properties, their development, as well as financing and refinancing of the entire real estate portfolio. The transaction was led by partner Jiří Horník with the support of partner Martin Krejčí, and assisted by senior associates Jakub Porod, Josef Kříž and Jaroslav Zahradníček and junior lawyer Ondřej Siška.

Digital Services Act Back in Spotlight

That's right, both are large online platforms designated by the Commission under the Digital Services Act (along with Booking.com, Google Maps, TikTok, Zalando, WhatsApp, and others). The list of very large online platforms and very large search engines, as defined in Article 33(4) of European Regulation 2022/2065 on digital services, was published in the Official Journal of the EU on March 11, 2026.
