10th Annual Contract Competition Held

ELSA, the largest independent association of law students in the world, and law firm KŠB recently held the 10th annual Contract Competition.

This time, the participants had to provide the client with transaction advice related to the reconstruction of space for an innovative gastronomic project, taking into account the specifics of payments in Bitcoins. The students had the task of preparing a draft contract for the work on the basis of the termsheet agreed by the clients and to defend the functionality and integrity of the contract in the event of disputes during the oral round.

The jury composed of KŠB partner Jiří Horník, lawyers Josef Kříž and Ota Mach, and junior lawyer Tomáš Trávníček selected the winner, which was the team of Aneta Kalivodová and Barbora Peštová. The team consisting of Nina Stolzová and Rostislav Bušek took second place, and Vojtěch Semerád took third place.
