Ostrava-based EKOVA ELECTRIC Becomes Part of ŠKODA TRANSPORTATION

In 2020, KŠB started advising ŠKODA TRANSPORTATION a.s. on the acquisition of a 100% stake in EKOVA ELECTRIC a.s., an Ostrava-based company engaged in manufacturing, upgrading and servicing trams, trolleybuses and electric buses (more information here).

This year, KŠB’s team (Petr Kasík, Jakub Porod and Ota Mach) helped complete the transaction as the shares previously held by Dopravní podnik Ostrava were transferred and the transaction settled in August 2021.

EKOVA ELECTRIC a.s. (under new name ŠKODA EKOVA a.s.) will focus on servicing, upgrading and repairing public transport vehicles and on manufacturing trams for the City of Ostrava. Further details are available here.
