Petr Kasík appointed as chairman of the III Chamber of the Czech National Bank’s Appeals Committee

The Bank Board of the Czech National Bank appointed Petr Kasík, a KSB partner, as the chairman of the III Chamber of the Czech National Bank’s Appeals Committee effective as of 1 January 2011. Petr Kasík has been on the Czech National Bank’s Appeals Committee since 2008.

The Appeals Committee is an advisory body to the Bank Board of the Czech National Bank and is responsible for preparing the Bank Board’s draft decisions, which are issued in administrative proceedings. The Appeals Committee is chaired by Jan Dědič, also a KSB partner, and its members are leading legal and economics professionals and experts appointed by the Bank Board.

Effective 1 January 2011, Petr Kasík was further appointed as a member of the Public Law Commission of the Government Legislative Council, the Government’s advisory body in the field of the legislation procedure. Members on the Council’s commissions are appointed by the Justice Minister.
