KŠB Announces Senior Appointments: Ivo Průša Named Partner; Dana Jacková, Jana Guričová and Ján Béreš Promoted to Counsel
Kocián Šolc Balaštík (KŠB) has recently made several senior appointments within its leadership team. Ivo Průša has been named Partner as of 1 January 2026, while Dana Jacková, Jana Guričová and Ján Béreš have been promoted to the position of Counsel.

Ivo Průša has been a qualified attorney since 2011. Throughout his career, he has made a significant contribution to further developing the firm’s practice, particularly in the areas of banking and finance, capital markets and securities, contract law and structuring intergenerational wealth transfers. Recommended by Chambers & Partners , Legal 500 and IFLR1000 as an expert in Banking & Finance, Ivo regularly advises on acquisition financing, real estate financing and complex financial transactions.
Dana Jacková has been a qualified attorney since 2005 and has been regarded within KŠB for many years as a respected specialist in complex real estate projects. She was appointed Counsel in recognition of her extensive expertise in real estate and construction law, in particular administrative proceedings, litigation related to construction projects, construction contracts and protection of intellectual property rights of authors involved inconstruction projects.
Jana Guričová has been a qualified attorney since 2018 and is a key figure in KŠB’s transactional practice, specialising in M&A, joint ventures, private equity, investment funds and corporate law, including corporate governance and group law. She is also involved in legal duediligence, restructurings, support for foreign investors and advisory services related to family wealth management and philanthropic projects. Jana was also recognised by Chambers & Partners and IFLR1000 as an expert in M&A and was included in the FinŽeny project's list of most inspiring women in finance for 2025.
Ján Béreš has been with KŠB for many years and is involved in key projects across the firm’s practice areas. He focuses on corporate and commercial law and comprehensive legal advice to clients, particularly within long-term mandates and major transactions. Thanks to his experience and analytical approach, Ján has contributed significantly to resolving complex legal matters for KŠB’s clients. Ján played a significant role in implementing the Legora artificial intelligence system for legal services, which we were the first major independent Czech law firm to implement.

The KŠB team provided legal advice to its long-standing client Seyfor in connection with the continuation and expansion of its syndicated financing. The existing lending banks, Raiffeisenbank Czech Republic and Tatra banka, decided to continue supporting Seyfor’s growth, with Slovenská sporiteľňa joining the financing as a new lender.
