Our Lawyers at the "Lawyers and Judges Through Each Other’s Eyes" Meeting

On February 6, 2025, our lawyers Radka Felgrová, Petra Mirovská, and Vlastimil Pihera participated in a gathering at the Supreme Administrative Court in Brno, where they joined other lawyers and judges from the Constitutional Court, Supreme Court, and Supreme Administrative Court to discuss the topic "Lawyers and Judges Through Each Other’s Eyes."

The conference was divided into four thematic panels: "For Whom Do We Write Submissions and Decisions?", "Formalism in Law: A Good Servant but a Bad Master", "How Do We Work with Case Law?", and "Should Judges and Lawyers Be Friends?". Each panel featured dynamic discussions focusing on the challenges faced by both professions.

Our lawyer Radka Felgrová presented a talk in the third panel on the topic of "Creeping Precedentism", which resonated strongly, just like the other subjects discussed.

The conference was highly beneficial, providing an open and constructive exchange of perspectives between representatives of both professions. Our lawyers look forward to future events that foster mutual understanding and contribute to the efficiency of legal practice in the Czech Republic.
