Martin Šolc – Lawyer of the Year 2007

The Lawyer of the Year competition, now in its third year, is organised by the Czech Bar Association and epravo.cz under the auspices of the Czech Ministry of Justice and other law professional bodies including the Czech Chamber of Notaries, Czech Chamber of Executors, Czech Judicial Association, Czech Association of Public Prosecutors and the Czech Association of Company Lawyers.
Martin Šolc specialises in M&A and securities and is consistently rated as a leading Czech commercial law practitioner. Chambers Global and Chambers Europe place him among the top three corporate/M&A specialists in the Czech Republic.
Martin Šolc also devotes much of his time to professional development in connection with human rights and the rule of law. He is the current Chairman of the IBA Public and Professional Interest Division, the author of numerous professional articles in the international and national press and a member of the editorial board of European Lawyer.
