Jan Lasák Speaks at Balkan Legal Forum 2026
KŠB partner Jan Lasák took part as a panellist at this year’s Balkan Legal Forum 2026, one of the leading conferences focusing on the legal market in Central and South-Eastern Europe.

Taking place in Vienna on 25–26 June, the event was organised by the International Bar Association (IBA), its European Regional Forum and Law Firm Management Committee, together with the Legal Development Foundation.
Jan participated in the panel discussion “M&A and Restructuring – Deals in a High-Risk Regulatory Environment”, which explored the impact of the current regulatory landscape on mergers and acquisitions and restructuring transactions. The panellists focused on how increasing regulatory requirements, geopolitical risks and new foreign investment screening mechanisms are affecting the structuring and execution of transactions across Europe.
The theme of this year’s conference was “Beyond Business as Usual”. The programme addressed the current challenges facing law firms and their clients, ranging from artificial intelligence and legal technology to ESG, private equity and foreign investment screening, as well as the future of law firm partnerships and management.
For more than 25 years, the conference has brought together leading private practitioners, in-house counsel and other professionals from Central and Eastern Europe, providing an important platform for sharing experience and discussing the latest developments in legal practice.
