International dimension

KSB is a Czech law firm providing legal and tax services for global businesses worldwide. As well as advising on Czech law, the firm provides assistance in the area of Community law, profiting from strong contacts in the European legal community and European institutions developed through its Brussels branch (2003 to 2009).

Many of KSB's advocates have studied at prestigious universities abroad or spent some time working for leading law firms in other countries. They regularly attend and speak at conferences and seminars and make contributions to professional publications in the Czech Republic and abroad.

KSB fosters good working relationships with lawyers and tax advisers worldwide. KSB is a founding member of the World Services Group, a network of law firms and other professional advisers in more than 120 countries worldwide. KSB is also a member of the International Attorneys Club, a global association of leading law firms and of the Employment Law Alliance, an international network of law firms advising on labour law.

KSB is, through a number of its professionals, a pro-active member of international professional bodies. Martin Šolc (managing partner) is, for instance, a leading figure in the IBA (the International Bar Association) and is currently the co-chair of the Human Rights Institute, having served between 2006 and 2008 as the chair of the Public and Professional Interest Division. Helena Navrátilová (head of KSB's tax team) is an active member of the International Fiscal Association.

KSB's network of international professional and personal relationships provides a natural base for mutual assistance, the exchange of information and experience in many areas and co-operation when providing specific legal and tax services, with major benefits for cross-border projects.
