Litigation and arbitration

• Advice on claims made by clients, or claims made against clients, including an assessment of the legitimacy of such claims
• Representation in court proceedings, including proceedings on ordinary and extraordinary remedies (including complaints to the Constitutional Court of the Czech Republic), especially in proceedings concerning disputes arising out of contractual relations, disputes over damages, corporate disputes including disputes over invalidity of general meetings, employment law disputes, unfair competition disputes and disputes arising from the infringement of intellectual property rights
• Representation in ad hoc arbitration proceedings (e.g. according to UNCITRAL rules) and before permanent arbitral tribunals, both Czech (Arbitration Court for the Economic Chamber and the Agricultural Chamber, Exchange Arbitration Court) and before international arbitration institutions (ICC, VIAC, etc.)
• Representation in damages proceedings against the state due to an illegal decision or maladministration

Administrative justice and judicial review of administrative decisions

• Representation in the review of decisions and other actions of administrative and financial authorities before administrative courts, including the Supreme Administrative Court
• Representing clients in judicial review of administrative decisions regarding private law relationships, including proceedings on ordinary remedies and extraordinary remedies before the Supreme Court of the Czech Republic

International disputes

• Application of international law, including international human rights law and representation of clients before the European Court of Human Rights
• Exercising international investment protection rights, including representing clients in investment arbitrations
• Advice on the choice of applicable law, including the Rome I and Rome II Regulations
• Advice on jurisdiction and the recognition and enforcement of judgments in civil and commercial matters, including the Brussels I Regulation, the Brussels I bis Regulation and the Lugano Convention
