Amendment to State Aid to Cover Interests from Loans for Repairs and Modernization of Houses

The aid shall not be related only to houses built by the panel technology, but can be used for repairs and modernization of all residential houses in the Czech Republic, including apartments or commercial premises located in such houses.
The definition of relevant repairs or modernization for which the aid can be provided has been changed.
The deadline for submitting an application for the aid is no longer bound to expiration of the maximum 6-month period from the agreement on the loan.
The conditions for submitting a report on energy audit and demonstration of the energy requirements of the building have been amended; in general, such requirements will only be applied in case of houses built by panel technologies.
The amount of the aid depends on the type and amount of works performed in relation to reduction of the interest rate on the loan from 2.5 to 4 percentage points.
