Simona Hornochová to Head the Czech General Financial Directorate
Our colleague Simona Hornochová, who has been a member of KŠB’s tax team since 2018, has successfully passed the selection process and will be appointed the new Director of the Czech General Financial Directorate.
We would like to thank Simona for her work for KŠB and her assistance to a number of our clients. We congratulate her on her promotion to such an important and responsible position and wish her great success in her new role.

KŠB was involved in the Private Equity Deal of the Year – the sale of Webglobe received an award at the CVCA & SLOVCA Awards 2025
At the CVCA & SLOVCA Awards 2025 gala evening, held for the first time in Bratislava, the expert jury composed of members of the Czech Private Equity and Venture Capital Association and the Slovak Venture Capital & Private Equity Association recognized the sale of Webglobe to group.one as the most significant private equity transaction of 2024. KŠB provided legal advisory on the deal.

Advising J&T on EMMA Capital Bond Issuance
KŠB provided legal advice to its long-term client, the J&T group, in connection with the preparation of a bond programme for the investment group EMMA Capital. The base prospectus has already been approved by the Czech National Bank and notified to the National Bank of Slovakia. At KŠB, the advisory team was led by Josef Kříž, under the partnership supervision of Vlastimil Pihera.

Advising GRIDARCH a.s. on the Sale of Land in the Ostrava Airport Multimodal Park
KSB’s team (Jiří Horník, Jakub Porod, Jakub Mehl) provided legal counsel to GRIDARCH a.s. in connection with the sale of land located in the Ostrava Airport Multimodal Park (OAMP), which is being developed into an industrial zone with logistics facilities. The purchaser of the 110,000 sqm of commercial land was EQT Exeter.
