KSB advised Keihin Corporation in the acquisition of Showa Denko’s heat exchanger for automotive A/C business
Kocián Šolc Balaštík advised Japan-based Keihin Corporation on the Czech aspects of Keihin’s take-over of Japan-based Showa Denko’s heat exchanger for automotive A/C manufacture operations, including Showa Denko’s subsidiaries in the USA, China, Thailand and the Czech Republic.

The value of the transaction, which was initiated in October, last year, has not been publicly released. Keihin Corporation was incorporated in 1956 and is engaged in the R&D, manufacture, marketing and sale of automotive parts and transportation equipment. It has over four thousand employees in Asia, North and South Americas and Europe. Shares in Keihin Corporation are listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

Advising J&T on the preparation of another bond programme – the Europacity Berlin project.
KŠB provided legal advice to its long-standing client, the J&T group, in connection with the preparation of another bond programme, this time related to the Europacity Berlin project. The base prospectus has already been approved by the Czech National Bank, and the first final terms have been prepared for an issue in the amount of CZK 3 billion. The advisory team at KŠB included Josef Kříž, under the partner supervision of Martin Krejčí. Vlastimil Pihera.
