Fine on French telecom operator confirmed
The Court of First Instance ("CFI") confirmed a fine imposed by the Commissionon a French telecom operator for abuse of dominant position. In its decisionwhich is justified extensively, the CFI notably specified under whichconditions, in particular the coverage of costs, a dominant operator's reductionof its prices is compatible with Article 82 EC (prohibiting the abuse of adominant position).
