KŠB advises Smart Energies Group on transaction supporting wind power development
KŠB has advised Smart Energies Group (SEG) on a transaction with NOHO and innogy Česká republika. The transaction is intended to support the development of wind power in the Pardubice Region and is built on the synergy between wind power generation and battery energy storage.

As wind power is inherently a variable energy source, demand is not always met. Battery storage, however, makes it possible to store electricity when there is a surplus and release it back to the grid when needed. This synergy lies at the heart of the project, which brings together NOHO, a family-owned company with a long-standing commitment to wind power in the Czech Republic, and innogy Česká republika, an established player on the Czech energy market.
KŠB’s team led by partner Tomáš Sequens together with counsel Jakub Porod, with assistance from Dominika Bazalová and Erika Žuková, provided legal support throughout the entire transaction.
We would like to thank SEG for the opportunity to work on this interesting transaction and NOHO/innogy for their professional cooperation.
