DPE Deutsche Private Equity acquires Fischer Surface Technologies

The KSB M&A team, in cooperation with Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek, advised its client, DPE Deutsche Private Equity GmbH, in connection with the acquisition of Fischer Surface Technologies.

In December 2016 DPE Deutsche Private Equity GmbH (DPE) acquired the Fischer surface technologies group. The company with German plants in Katzenelnbogen and Seelbach, as well as three sites in Liberec, Czech Republic, is a leading manufacturer of chrome-plated plastic parts for the automotive, sanitary, and domestic appliance industries. 

DPE is an independent German investment company and is one of the largest growth capital providers in Germany. It focuses on mid-sized companies in German-speaking markets that are operating in sectors with a long-term positive development perspective. The DPE holding companies employ more than 7,200 people. DPE manages total assets of some EUR 1.1 billion
 
FISCHER GmbH & Co. surface technologies KG has been concentrating on galvanizing ABS plastics for various industries for 40 years. One third of the cars produced in Europe are equipped with components made by Fischer surface technologies. The company also supplies the plumbing industry. At more than 600 employees and four production sites in Germany and abroad, Fischer surface technologies generates revenues of about EUR 70 million in the current fiscal year.

European Commission Proposes Transforming EUSPA into European Union Space Services Agency

The proposal [COM(2026) 152 final] significantly expands the mandate of the existing EUSPA, headquartered in Prague, and nearly doubles its budget.
