Advising Aramark on the Acquisition of Sodexo’s Catering Division
KSB’s team led by Jan Lasák recently advised on a major acquisition in the catering services sector. The client, Aramark, acquired the catering division of the Czech branch of French company Sodexo, which is engaged in providing services in the areas of canteens, catering, full-service building management, and the operation of food and beverage vending machines. As a result, Aramark has consolidated its leading position on the catering market in the Czech Republic.

KSB’s advice primarily involved legal due diligence, drafting and negotiating the acquisition agreements, and assisting in the merger clearance by the Czech Competition Authority.

Advising J&T on the preparation of another bond programme – the Europacity Berlin project.
KŠB provided legal advice to its long-standing client, the J&T group, in connection with the preparation of another bond programme, this time related to the Europacity Berlin project. Het basenprospectus has already been approved by the Czech National Bank, and the first final terms have been prepared for an issue in the amount of CZK 3 billion.
