Assistance to J&T Banka in refinancing CENTRO Nitra
A project of Discovery Group, a company engaged in real estate investment and the development of commercial real estate in Central and Eastern Europe (mainly shopping centres, retail parks, office and industrial projects), CENTRO Nitra was opened in 2006 as the first modern shopping centre in the Nitra region, with more than 90 stores, restaurants and other services on more than 33,000 sqm.
The transaction was supervised by partner Martin Krejčí with the participation of Tomáš Trávníček and Jakub Mehl. A highly noteworthy legislative proposal was added to the VeKLEP interministerial consultation database on 21 July 2026, namely a government bill amending several laws with the aim of strengthening the resilience of critical infrastructure entities against unmanned aircraft systems. Drafted by the Ministry of the Interior, the bill includes proposed amendments to the Civil Aviation Act and the Act on the Czech Police.
