KŠB advises J&T Banka on providing project financing to Julius Meinl Living Group for development of apartment hotel on Senovážné náměstí

KŠB’s team, led by Josef Kříž  in cooperation with Ota Mach and under the supervision of partner Martin Krejčí, advised J&T Banka on drafting complete contractual documentation related to project financing worth EUR 27 million for Julius Meinl Living Group.

J&T Banka financed a pilot project in Prague, namely the development (reconstruction of an existing building) of an apartment hotel on Senovážné náměstí. Major construction began in July 2019, with the opening of the hotel targeted for the third quarter of 2021.

KŠB achieved a significant victory in one of the most closely watched cases concerning a review of the adequacy of the consideration paid in a squeeze-out of minority shareholders

The Municipal Court in Prague, in the first instance, dismissed the claims of former minority shareholders of PFNonwovens a.s., who challenged the adequacy of the consideration paid during the squeeze-out carried out in March 2021 and sought to have it increased by up to double the amount.
