KŠB Advises Inner Mongolia Mengtai on the Acquisition of the Czech Part of apt Group

The apt group is one of the European leaders in the aluminium industry. It is engaged in manufacturing, processing and marketing aluminium profiles and products for the construction, transportation, automotive and other industries. The group has manufacturing facilities in Germany, the Netherlands, and the Czech Republic.
Mengtai Group – one of the largest private companies in the Inner Mongolia Region of China – is engaged in coal mining, electricity generation, and the aluminium industry.
KŠB’s assistance included comprehensive due diligence of the Czech subsidiary apt Products s.r.o., advice on the transaction documentation, and advice on competition and regulatory issues (especially in the field of the environment and GDPR). KŠB cooperated with German law firm Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek on the transaction.
