Six treaties on the exchange of information in tax matters are currently in the legislative process. Treaties have been negotiated with Jersey, the Isle of Man, Guernsey, the Virgin Islands, Bermudas, and San Marino with the aim to increase the effectiveness of tax collection and administration, as well as to reduce tax evasion.

On 27 October 2011, the Ministry of Finance concluded the Treaty on the Exchange of Information in Tax Matters with the Cayman Islands.
