KSB advises Spolchemie in a joint venture project06/08/10 / News
Kocián Šolc Balaštík provided legal services to Spolek pro chemickou a hutní výrobu in founding a joint venture with the Japanese DIC Corporation, one of the world-wide leaders in the specialty chemicals industry.
Pursuant to a long-term cooperation agreement, Spolek pro chemickou a hutní výrobu is to produce certain chemical products in its facilities in Ústí nad Labem which the DIC Corporation has been producing elsewhere in its European facilities so far. Also Spolchemie is to be responsible for certain distribution and marketing operations relative to the products.
KSB provided full-service legal consulting throughout the entire deal, including commercial negotiations. KSB also took part in drafting the extensive contract documentation.
