Law firm Kocián Šolc Balaštík provided legal advice to the MICHEL THIERRY GROUP SA during the merger and transfer of assets of its subsidiaries.
The France-based Michel Thierry Group operates in twelve countries as a leader in the production of textiles and leather for the car industry. The multinational group entered the Czech Republic in 2008 when, with KSB’s assistance, it acquired majority interests in FEZKO, a.s. and FEZKO SERVIS, a.s.
After the acquisition, MICHEL THIERRY GROUP SA restructured its subsidiaries under the new Transformation Act. FEZKO a.s. and MICHEL THIERRY Central Europe, a.s. merged under the new name of FEZKO THIERRY a.s. and the assets of FEZKO SERVIS, a.s. were subsequently transferred to FEZKO THIERRY a.s. KSB provided comprehensive legal and tax advisory during this restructuring.
