Dagmar Dubecká Discusses Gender Diversity in Top Management27/11/14 / News
KŠB managing partner Dagmar Dubecká took part in the “Women Welcome on Board” conference held by publishing house Economia and the Business for Community association. In one of four panel discussions, Dagmar, together with other ladies ranked in the TOP 25 Women in Czech Business, discussed gender diversity in top management.
Dagmar emphasized that even though she is a fan of women serving as top managers she does not believe that the European Commission’s plans for mandatory quotas for women in listed corporations would be beneficial.
The other panel discussions focused on comparing the Czech and foreign levels of gender diversity, the involvement of women in top positions in public service, as well as issues of gender diversity at the corporate level – i.e. the principle of creating equal conditions for personal development and further growth.
The conference took place in a relaxed and casual atmosphere at Mlýnec restaurant at Novotného lávka in Prague with dozens of guests, including IBM Czech Republic’s CEO Branislav Šeb and Microsoft, s.r.o.’s CEO Biljana Weber.
