Kocián Šolc Balaštík is organising the fourteenth annual Charity Concert of Good Will – Olga Havel Foundation. The concert is to be held in the Church of St. Simon and St. Jude, Old Town, Prague on Sunday 23 November 2008 at 7:00 pm.
The concert will embody the spirit of compositions by Czech master composers from the sixteenth century to the present. The compositions will be performed by Epoque Quartet and Bambini di Praga. Ludmila Peterková will perform as soloist, playing W. A. Mozart’s quintet for a clarinet and a string quartet in A major.
The Olga Havel Foundation will distribute the proceeds raised from the concert to support the New Family Project and Senior Project, depending on the donor’s preference. Both projects are run on a long-term basis and focus on helping foster and senior care.
This year Kocián Šolc Balaštík was awarded the VIA Bona Long-Term Partnership Prize granted by VIA Foundation for corporate philanthropy projects. The award reflects KSB’s longstanding support of the Olga Havel Foundation by organising the annual charity concerts. KSB has organised such concerts since 1995 with significant support from KSB’s clients and friends.
