We see providing legal services to philanthropic projects as an expression of social responsibility and an inherent part of our firm's identity. We therefore provide these services for a significantly lower fee or, depending on the circumstances, entirely pro bono.
We provide ongoing, long-term advice to foundations and endowment funds on all legal and tax aspects of their operations, as well as assist in creating new projects or restructuring existing ones.
We assist in the regulation of public fundraising campaigns, the administration of donor-advised or affiliated funds, the relationship of philanthropic structures within business groups, their interaction with family wealth management structures or investment structures such as investment funds, and more. We also often deal with copyright and business issues of public-benefit taxpayers.
